Draft for attorney review. This page is a plain-English draft. It will be reviewed by a franchise and consumer-protection attorney before payments open.

1. Who we are

Handy's University ("we", "us") provides business training, templates, coaching calls, software tools and a member community for owners of handyman and home-repair businesses. It is operated by Handy's (Tim Leary). The website and member software are built and hosted by SalesUp.

2. Not a franchise or business opportunity

Buying a membership or launch package does not give you a franchise, a license to use the Handy's or Handy's University name, logo or trademarks, a territory, or any customers, accounts or leads. You run your own independent business under your own brand and make your own decisions about prices, marketing, hiring and suppliers. Nothing you buy from us requires you to buy anything from any vendor.

3. No earnings promises

We do not promise or guarantee any revenue, income, profit, number of jobs or leads. Any numbers about Handy's are Tim Leary's own, self-reported results for one business. They are not typical and are not a prediction of your results. Your results depend on your market, effort, skills, capital and many factors outside our control.

4. Memberships

5. Launch packages

6. Tier 4 and SalesUp services

The Growth Stack in Tier 4 (website, Google Business Profile, LSA and Google Ads setup, AI receptionist, homeowner app) is delivered by SalesUp under a separate SalesUp agreement. The first 3 months of SalesUp service are included in Tier 4. After that, SalesUp services are optional, month to month, and billed by SalesUp. Ad spend is always paid by you directly to the ad platform. Tier 4 is offered to businesses that are already operating.

7. Payment plans and financing

Payment plans cost more in total than paying in one payment. If a plan payment fails and is not fixed within 14 days, we may pause access until it is. Financing for Tiers 3 and 4 is provided by a third party under its own terms and approval.

8. Guarantees

9. Your use of the materials

Templates, SOPs and training are licensed to your business for internal use. You may edit them for your shop. You may not resell, publish or share them outside your business.

10. Vendor introductions

If you ask for an introduction, we share the details you agree to share with that vendor. Vendors are independent businesses responsible for their own products and terms. Some vendors, including SalesUp, may pay us or Handy's a referral fee or revenue share; this never changes the member price you are quoted.

11. Licensing and compliance

You are responsible for your own licenses, permits, insurance, employment law and tax compliance. Our license map and guides are general information, not legal advice.

12. Limits

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Contact
